Beyonce Debuts At #20, Rihanna Chillan At #11 and Nicki Re-Enters At #64!!!

These are the most powerful women in urban music right now!

This is Beyonce’s best debut from “4″, the triumphant but ill-promoted follow up to 2008′s “I Am Sasha Fierce”. B performed the track a few weeks ago at the VMAs and I personally haven’t been able to get the sh** out of my head since… It’s one of my least favorite tracks on the album but a testament to her abilities as a singer and just a small piece of the vocal cocaine that is “4″, COP IT IMMEDIATELY!!!

Nicki & Rihanna team up for “Pink Friday’s” latest single, which re-entered the chart at #64 last week! It’s one of my favorite songs off the album and I love the video! I’m sure this song, given the Rihanna feature will see Billboard’s top 10 and maybe even the pinnacle!

“Loud” latest single, “Cheers” sits happy at #11 and will likely enter the top 10 this week! I didn’t like this song at all but the video has changed the way I hear it. Rihanna may score her 4th chart topper from the 4x platinum “Loud”!!!

All 3 of these ladies WENT IN on there respective projects, great albums in there one regards. I’m very proud of them!

I’ve been waiting since January to see this video, it’s one of my favorite songs on the album and I really think Nicki’s got her first Billboard Hot 100 #1 with this Rihanna assisted anthem!!!

Nicki Minaj To Unveil “Fly” Official Video At The MTV VMAs!!!

 

After Months of waiting, fans will finally catch a glimpse of Nicki Minaj’s “Fly” music video featuring Rihanna. The Young Money Femcee will unveil a “first look” at the Sanaa Hamri-directed visual during pre-show of the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards on August 28.

The video for “Fly” was filmed back in January (2011) but only the above photo was previously released to fans.

“We’re going to save the world in more ways than one with the video and that’s all I can say about that,” Minaj previously told E! Online. “I love Ri-Ri! I mean, when she’s not grabbing my ass she’s a sweet girl.”

“Fly” is taken from Minaj’s debut album ‘Pink Friday’ which debuted at No. 2 on Billboard 200 album chart.

The MTV VMAs pre-show will be hosted by Selena Gomez this year. The main show will kick off with Lady GaGa as the opening act and other performers include Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Adele and Bruno Mars.

Nicki Minaj “Pink Friday” Tops The Charts!!!

Nicki Minaj crowns the Billboard 200 albums chart for the first time, as her “Pink Friday” set steps 3-1 in its 11th week on the list (45,000; up 18% per Nielsen SoundScan). “Pink” also pushes past the 1 million total sales mark this week — 1,035,000 total since its Nov. 22, 2010 release.

“Pink Friday” initially debuted at No. 2 and has since spent its entire chart life in the top 10.

Minaj’s patient wait for her turn at No. 1 is a rare sight. For the most part, an album is only No. 1 because it debuted there. It’s unusual for a set to climb to the top. Case in point: in 2010, there were 30 albums that hit No. 1, but just one — Lil Wayne‘s “I Am Not A Human Being” — actually rose to the top. Wayne debuted at No. 2 off of just downloads, then fell to No. 16 the next week, only to reach No. 1 the next once the CD version of the album dropped.

The album is grade A and she’s going to have a great 2011! “Moment4Life” is making big moves at urban radio and the Rihanna assisted “Fly” is poised to widen her sphere of popularity with it’s breathy, poppy but still genuine appeal! “Moment 4 Life” featuring Drake is Nicki’s new single, her 5th single from the now platinum “Pink Friday”. She shot a video for “Fly” which features vocals from Rihanna last weekend so it’s safe to conclude that’s 6th single and we should probably be seeing that video in no more then a couple months, depending on how successful “Moment 4 Life” is at radio… Love both songs! Nicki Minaj & Rihanna Shoot “Fly” Official Video!!!

Two of the most powerful women in Hip-Hop and R&B came together to shoot a video for Nicki Minaj’s single off her “Pink Friday” album entitled “Fly.”

The beautiful ladies shot the highly anticipated video over the weekend with director Sanaa Hamri.

During the shoot, Rihanna had jokingly tweeted:

“Me and Nikki in our new crib, lol! Gettin busy on set of FLY!!! Its so hard to keep my hands off!”

Nicki then replied:

“If we’re gonna liv 2gthr and hook up u gotta learn how 2 spell my name! Lmaooooooo.”

The Harajuku Barbie sat down with E! Online to give a brief concept of the video, as well as her experience on working with the pop and R&B singer.
