Amy WineHouse Dead At 27!!

According to reports, British soul singer Amy Winehouse was found at her home in London. The “Back to Black” singer, 27, was found at the property by emergency services and police are calling her death is being treated as ‘unexplained’ by police.

In a statement, the Metropolitan Authorities said: “Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05hrs (3:05 PM) today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased.

Winehouse cancelled her European tour earlier this summer after giving an incoherent performance, appearing very disorientated and removed from reality.

“Amy Winehouse is withdrawing from all scheduled performances,” says a statement from her spokesperson. “Everyone involved wishes to do everything they can to help her return to her best and she will be given as long as it takes for this to happen.”

Winehouse’s breakthrough disc, 2006’s “Back to Black,” won her five Grammy Awards and helped her achieve worldwide stardom, but her music had been overshadowed by drug use and run-ins with the law. She had been working on her long-awaited new album for the past three years.

Tears literally jumped outta my eyes when I heard the news… This deeply saddens me..I always knew Amy would leave us before her time, the self distructive behavior, the drugs, the alcohol. I knew she was destined to fall right in line with Janice Joplin and Jimmy Hendrix, a genius plagued by her own brilliance, gone too soon because of drug abuse..

She’s mosdef a part of music history now, an icon, a legend that will be worshipped by legions of fans until the end of time. Her music will live forever!!

This really hurts me…
