Beyonce & Her Label Insist “Grown Woman” Is NOT Her Single!!

bey flopping

What a f**** JOKE!!! “Bow Down” wasn’t the single and now “Grown Woman” isn’t but here’s the truth; if the singles had been well received, Beyonce wouldn’t be ashamed to claim them….

The Timbaland produced record hits iTunes in the AM (told y’all it sounded like “When I Grow Up” by PCD) and while her new music has been HUGELY anticipated, the reaction to both “Bow Down” and “Grown Woman” have been underwhelming at best.

While Beyonce struggles to get things together with this album, Rihanna is on tour and ready to shoot the video for her next single which could be either “Loveeeeeee” Ft Future or “Right Now” Ft Davie Guetta…

We love Beyonce but her business practices in regard to her last album and this one thus far have been TRASH!! She needs to stop trying to be a big girl and find her father or someone that can do what he did for her IMMEDIATELY or she’s going to have a year like Mariah did in 2001…. The media can’t wait to turn on her!

  1. 1. Bow Down was OBVIOUSLY not a single. No artist releases a new single via tumblr…
    2. Grown Woman was never said by any official source to be a single. I was only used in a Pepsi add.
    3. I’m not sure if you’ve even listened to the song, because it sounds nothing like “when I grow up.”
    4. There has been no official announcement about Grown Woman being released on iTunes.
    5. What a sorry excuse for journalism we have here.

    • “Grown Woman” is being released TOMORROW via iTunes. That’s the announcement she made 4.4.13….. Furthermore, she said it was her new song inthe behind the scenes video for the new pepsi commercial…. The song sounds like a WEAK “When I Grow Up”, listen to both songs back to back, same producer but PCD did it better..

    • Has another ignorant Beyonce stan wondered onto my blog without knowing the facts, what’s going on with there artist??

      • The announcement on 4.4.13 was the Pepsi add. In the behind the scenes video she only refers to the song as simply that, a new song, not a new single. “When I grow up” was produced by Darkchild, not Timbaland.
And once again, point me to an official source that states Grown Woman is being released on iTunes, I’ve already checked beyonce’s site, Pepsis site, iTunes, and Sonys site. No mention on releasing the song.

      • The below YouTube link is a performance of “When I Grow Up” at Fashion Rocks a few years back….. Timbaland is even part of the performance, he’s the producer….

This below link references the song being released tomorrow even though Beyonce and her label have already stepped away from the song as a single….

        http://gossiponthis.com/2013/04/05/beyonces-grown-woman-song-not-her-new-single/

    • not to mention the Producer of “When I Grow Up” is Rodney Jerkins (Dark Child) these girls need to get there facts straight !!!!!! LOL

      • Well he must of produced the remix because they performed the song with him at his showcase at fashion rocks in 2008… Do your research fam……..

  2. That’s great timbaland performed with them, but he is not credited for having any hand in producing “when I grow up.” (A quick Wikipedia search should do the trick)
And gossiponthis.com is not an official source nor does it provide any sources for the information in the article.

    • the performances is apart of a Timbaland presentation.. One republic and others also joined PCD on stage with others who owe there hit from that year to Timbaland…. He produced the song, sorry…

As far as “Grown Woman” being released official tomorrow; there’s no Beyonce fan on this planet that doesn’t know that dude……

      • It’s nothing more than a fan fueled rumor. And Darkchild is the only producer credited on the song “when I grow up.”

      • timb must have did the remix but they were a part of his showcase so he had to have a hand in the songs creation

  3. *checks itunes*
    Hmmmm…. I don’t see Grown Woman.

  4. But “When I Grow Up” by PCD was produced by Dark Child !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol yall need to get it together …

  6. BeyHiveCEO Says:

“When I Grow Up” is a song recorded by American girl group the Pussycat Dolls from their second studio album, Doll Domination (2008). It was released by Interscope Records on May 27, 2008, as the lead single from the album. “When I Grow Up” was their first single following the departure of the group’s longest-standing member Carmit Bachar. It was first recorded for Nicole Scherzinger’s planned solo project, Her Name Is Nicole, but after its postponement and Scherzinger’s return to the group, she felt that the song was better suited for the group. It was written by Theron Thomas, Timothy Thomas and Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, who also produced the song. It is an uptempo electropop song with elements of the 1966 song, “He’s Always There” by British rock band The Yardbirds. “When I Grow Up” speaks about the desire to be famous, and was described as being “autobiographical” by Scherzinger.
The single was received favorably by contemporary music critics, many of whom highlighted it as a stand-out track from Doll Domination. It peaked at number nine on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming the group’s highest charting single since “Buttons” (2006). The song has sold over two million digital copies in the United States, making the Pussycat Dolls the first female group in digital history to have three singles pass the two million mark in digital sales. The song reached the top-five in countries such as Australia, Canada, France, Ireland, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, and the top-ten in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland.
The song’s accompanying music video premiered on June 13, 2008. Directed by Joseph Khan, it portrays the Pussycat Dolls in a traffic jam on Hollywood Boulevard. It was complimented for its dance breakdown, and was nominated in five categories at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, and went on to win Best Dance Video. The Pussycat Dolls performed the song on television shows including Jimmy Kimmel Live! and So You Think You Can Dance, as well several award shows, and throughout their Doll Domination Tour (2009).

  7. BeyHiveCEO Says:

Also Beyonce never stated the song as a SINGLE it was a song recorded for her commercial for PEPSI and her growth in the industry! Bow Down was a compilation track made of to different songs that yet still got much notice and crowed buzz. Seeing as how blogs like this drivin to hate on or ridicule Beyonce and her 5th coming work!

    • J.Woods Says:

      Cleared it..!!

    • No one’s here to ridicule Beyonce… She’s been promoting since November 2012 and there’s STILL no “official” single.. It’s obvious that she’s ben trying to test the waters with this track and that track, trying to gauge the opinion of the ppl but that sort of shit is for lesser artist.. When Rihanna starts promoting an album, she drops a single, that’s it! There are no “buzz tracks” because artist with confident, SOLID management don’t need them……………………………. Furthermore, it was WIDELY reported that “Grown Woman” would be released to iTunes and other major vendors today but even that has been cancelled given the un-enthusiastic reaction of the ppl…

  8. LOL.. Why do you people waste your time to mislead the public?

    1. In the Behind the Scenes Video for the Pepsi Ad, Beyonce says that Grown Woman is Her NEW SINGLE.

    2. That song sounds more like End of time if anything….. When i Grow up? NEVERR!!!!

    3. There is no official date set for the release of the song as yet.

  9. As well as, there is no Official statement from anyone saying that the track is not her single.. in the mean time.. here is the proof.

  10. Has it ever occurred to anyone that she is now a mother? oh im sorry I forgot Rhianna has kids. The money B has, she can play around with her work and test all she wants
