We love the message and see the songs massive commercial potential despite the urban feel of the track! The videos going to surface in the next couple weeks, Mimi shot it in New York, going to be fire, so proud of her! It’s a lot like a song called “100%” she put out about 4 years ago but it didn’t catch on like this one will! Stay TRIUMPHANT TrueClef Alumni!

Could it be true? Both Beyonce and Rihanna are divas in their own right, but recent talk of a collaboration on Beyonce’s new album could bring together the two beauties in a powerhouse duet.

A report from gossip music site M Is for Music claims the two R&B icons are working together to complete a track for the songstress’ forthcoming project.

According to an anonymous source, Bey and RiRi began talking about the possibility of a collaboration during the 2011 Grammy Awards. The insider says, “Rihanna has wanted to work with Beyonce for some time now, and after talking about a duet at this year’s Grammys, they have finally managed to set aside some time to record together.”

WOWWW!!! I don’t think this is true but it be a positive thing for Beyonce to have The it Girl featuring and a SICKENING music video would like follow!

Right now Rihanna is one of the biggest pop stars in the world, just crowning the chart for a record 10th time with her Britney Spears assisted “S&M”! A collaboration with Beyonce would be almost as epic!

B’s album is due late Summer, early Fall so we’ll see what happens. One artist we can be sure won’t make an appearance is Nicki Minaj #shame

The Hov threatens to walk off the show if Chris Brown Performed???

Hell yea he did! He is still livid with Chris beating the donkey sh** outta Rihanna.

Jay-Z premiered his new video after the show and performed his new single “D.O.A” but reported threatened to chunk the deuce if Chris Brown remotely touched the stage this year… A source reports the following:

“Chris had been rehearsing and everything and Jay-Z pulled the plug on him single-handedly because everyone (record label, execs, etc) gave BET the ok for Chris to perform”

I know it must have hurt him to be left off the show like that but we can’t just pretend like he didn’t do anything… It’s only been a few months. Expect Jay to continue black balling Mr Brown…

Back when I was in a group, our song “I like the Girls” was fast becoming an underground hit here in the UK. We were at an outdoor show with a crowd of about 3000 people. During our performance we all noticed this crazy guy dressed like a 70’s pimp banging a bottle on the railing in front of the stage and shouting. We couldn’t tell what he was saying but by the look on his face it didn’t look good. So in between songs one of my band members addressed him and said ” how can you come out of the house dressed like that, you could kill someone” then another one started singing “ha ha ha stay in the light” and we all spontaneously joined him in a harmony. This was enough to make the crowd go wild with laughter.  As we were singing the next song, dance routines and all, I noticed that he had managed to sneak past the security guards and was making a B line for the stage. Of course we couldn’t stop singing but I could see the whole band was aware he was approaching. It was like the scene in the Body Guard where the killer was in the audience (lmao). Luckily just as he got on the final step of the stage a security guard saw him and pulled him off, two more seconds and God knows what would have happened.

“Wooooow. The first experience that pops into my head was about two or three years ago at this Fashion Show in Houston, Texas. I wasn’t able to make it in time for soundcheck because the traffic was so bad!! If you live in Houston you know how that 5 o’clock traffic is. By the time I made it to the Event it was my turn to perform so as soon as I walked through the door I had to go on stage. People were telling me the DJ was whack, but I wasn’t expecting what happened next. So I step out on stage and proceeded singing down this candlelit runway but NOTHING IS BEING HEARD!! LOL! The damn DJ didn’t even have my mic turned on! So I did what anyone serious about their craft would do…haha. I stopped on the runway…turned around…and told his ass to turn my mic on and start my show over dammit. LOL. It had to be done. From that point on…I killed…”

My worst experience at a gig was having the track start… and realizing that the track was actually the real song instead of a performance track. I was sooooo embarrassed, but I think I did a good job of playing it off well. LOL!

I remember a lot strange experiences but one was just a few months ago. I was performing with two mc’s in one of the biggest night clubs in Hamburg, Germany. We were doing a  live PA of my song “Ma Sex and Ma Love” with a backing track. With out warning, while we were performing, the CD started to jump and it was almost impossible to continue because the track was skipping every few seconds. After some time we just had to laugh through the rest of the performance, we just couldn’t stop.I tell you these were the longest 4 minutes in my whole life. Luckily the audience saw the funny side so our PA quickly turned into a comedy set. Thank God the next track played just fine so we got to rock the house.

Ok picture this…You’re in the crowd and you see three lovely, beautiful ladies performing music that simply sends shivers down your spine… they all leave the stage for a quick change and when they return (feeling sexy mind you) in these hot outfits… one has her big ole ass knickers hanging out her trousers (that’s me) and one has a label out her wig and the other has forgotten to do her trouser up tut tut ad then to top it off the mics cut out haha… but we carried on the same way and they loved us!!!! YAAAY!!!

Be sure to tune in each week to catch the feature on Bang FM 103.6 fm every Thursday between 7-9 pm GMT. Readers outside of the UK can click the image below to hear the radio show:

This is an amazing performance of Pink’s new single “Sober” which is on repeat on my ipod lol. I think she’s really evolved as a artist and become a much better singer. I’m loving the raspy, soulful fullness of her vocals. I might have to go get the album and post a review!

SO THE 2009 GRAMMY AWARDS WERE HORRIBLE!!!!

Posted in BEYONCE, estelle, FASHION ROCKS, HIPHOP, JAZMINE SULLIVAN, JENNIFER HUDSON, KANYE WEST, LIVE PERFORMANCES, NEWS, POP ROCK, THE GRAMMY AWARDS, trueclefmusic, TRUECLEFMUSIC.COM with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on February 10, 2009 by JupiterDaTruth

grammy

I’M NOT EVEN GOING TO WRITE A FULL REVIEW BECAUSE WE ALL SAW THE AWARDS AND WE ALL KNOW HOW CUTTIN UP THEY WERE…YUCCCKKKKK. WHAT I WILL DO IS MAKE A FEW HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE SHOW

GRAMMY HIGHLIGHTS:

– KATIE PERRY BUTCHERED HER HIT “I KISSED A GIRL”

SHE WAS CLEARLY NERVOUS AND OUT OF BREATH BECAUSE OF THAT NERVOUSNESS. I GUESS A NEW ARTIST IN A ROOM FULL OF PEOPLE WHO CAN MAKE OR BREAK HER SINKS OR FLOATS AND SHE SUNK SUNDAY NIGHT…

– JENNIFER HUDSON SNAGGED BEST R&B ALBUM

APPROPRIATELY ENOUGH WHITNEY HOUSTON PRESENTED THE AWARD TO HER. SHE WAS SHOCKED AND APPRECIATIVE AS USUAL. SHE CUT UP LATER IN THE SHOW WITH A TRIBUTE TO HER FAMILY THAT WAS WAY LESS THEN INSPIRING, THOUGH I LOVE HER VOCALS…

– KANYE AND ESTELLE PERFORMED THERE HIT “AMERICAN BOY”

SHE LOOKED GOOD BUT HE WAS A MESS WITH THAT DAMN MULLET. THE PERFORMANCE OVERALL WAS GOOD. WHEN THEY FINISHED THEY PRESENT BEST NEW ARTIST, “AN AWARD WHICH NEITHER KANYE OR ESTELLE WERE HONORED WITH” MR WEST REMARKED…

– JAZMINE SULLIVAN WAS ROBBED FOR BEST NEW ARTIST

ADELLE STOLE THE AWARD, ANOTHER BRIT TRYING TO MIRROR AMY WINEHOUSE. WHATEVER GRAMMY ACADEMY…

– BEYONCE DIDN’T PERFORM OR ATTEND THE CEREMONY

THIS WOULD HAVE MADE THE SHOW WORTH WATCHING BUT THE QUEEN B HAD BETTER THINGS TO DO WITH HER SUNDAY NIGHT. SHE’S REPORTEDLY OVERSEAS PROMOTED HER “I AM SASHA FIERCE”

– “SWAGGA LIKE US” WAS FINALLY PERFORMED LIVE AND INCLUDED A PREGNANT M.I.A

HER DUE DATE WAS YESTERDAY SO GOOD THING HER WATER DIDN’T BREAK ON STAGE. REALLY GOOD PERFORMANCE FROM HER, JAY’Z, WAYNE, KANYE AND T.I…. PERHAPS THE BEST PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT.

– JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE ALMOST COMPLETELY UPSTAGED AL GREEN

I THOUGHT THIS WAS A LITTLE DISRESPECTFUL. HERE HE IS DOING A TRIBUTE TO THE R&B ICON AND SINGING JUST AS MUCH OR MORE THENTHE R&B ICON. JUSTIN MIRRORED EVERY NOTE AND FOLLOWED THE MAN ALL OVER THE STAGE. AL DECIDED TO LET HIM HAVE IT WITH A HIGH NOTE BUT JUSTIN OF COURSE DELIVERED HIS OWN FALSETTO. I WOULD HAVE FELT UNCOMFORTABLE IF I WAS AL GREEN BUT SINCE I’M NOT I’LL JUST BE UNCOMFORTABLE FOR HIM. SIT THAT A** DOWN SOMEWHERE JUSTIN!

– ROBERT PLANT AND ALISON KRAUSS KEPT WINNING AWARDS THAT SHOULD HAVE GONE TO OTHER PEOPLE

MOST NOTEDLY OF WHICH WAS THE ALBUM OF THE YEAR. THE ACADEMY COMPLETELY SNUBBED LIL WAYNE ON THIS ONE… I’VE NEVER HEARD THIS SONG THAT WAS SO POPULAR ON THE WIN LIST SUNDAY NIGHT NOR HAVE I HEARD OF ALISON KRAUSS…EVER…

NOTES:

WHAT THE HELL WAS THE DEAL WITH THE MONOLOGUE, SEEMED LIKE THE WRITERS WERE STILL ON STRIKE… I TURNED THE CHANNEL TWICE DURING THE ROCK’S LITTLE HOSTING BIT, SUCH A MESS…

ALL IN ALL THE GRAMMYS WERE A COMPLETE MESS. I’M SURE THERE WERE MORE CUTTIN UP MOMENT BUT AFTER A WHILE I JUST CHANGED IT TO USA AND WATCHED HOUSE LOL…

CAN’T WAIT FOR THE FASHION ROCKS SHOW, THEY NEVER DISAPPOINT…

LET ME FIRST SAY THAT THERE AREN’T TOO MANY ARTIST THAT EXIST OUTSIDE OF THE REALMS OF URBAN DANCE, MAINSTREAM POP AND HIPHOP THAT I CUT FOR BUT KELLY IS ONE OF MY EXCEPTIONS.

SHE CAME HARD WITH HER SECOND ALBUM. SHE RACKED UP 3 OR 4 NUMBER ONE HITS AND REALLY PROVED HER WORTH.SHE’S THE MOST SUCCESSFUL ARTIST AMERICAN IDOL EVER HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH AND I LOVE HER MUSIC. HER 3RD ALBUM WASN’T NEARLY AS SUCCESSFUL BUT IT APPEARS SHE’S GOT THE FORMULA RIGHT ONCE AGAIN WITH THIS NEXT RELEASE. HER NE SINGLE “MY LIFE WOULD SUCK WITHOUT YOU” SHOT FROM THE 90S ON BILLBOARD STRAIGHT TO #1 IN JUST A WEEK. MS CLARKSON IS BACK. IF THIS NEW ALBUM IS ANYTHING LIKE 2005’S “BREAK AWAY” IT”S GOING TO BE SOME ICEY WEATHER OUT THERE THIS YEAR FOR MANY. SHES THE MORE HARDCORE POPROCK VERSION OF BRITNEY SPEARS AND HER FIRE IS JUST AS HOTT.

THE NEW ALBUM “ALL I EVER WANTED” IS ON IT’S WAY
