We don’t think J was trying to throw that slug at Nicki Minaj but at the same time, she herself is a singer, like Mariah… It just makes more sense for Mariah to be there…..
We love Nicki but we haven’t felt the same way about her since the video of her coming for Mariah during an I.A audition went viral… Based on what she’s had to say and what Mariah’s had to say, we can conclude that FOX signed Mariah on to the show based on her being the only female judge….. They later added Nicki and that pissed Mariah off.. Mimi wasn’t mad at Nicki at all but really irritated with the networks decision to undermine her… The tension just built up and exploded, no one’s fault but the networks. We’ve forgiven Nicki, hopefully the rest of Mimi’s fan can do the same…..
Here’s an excerpt from the interview with Ellen:
“It was just two big ol’ divas, I guess,” said Nicki, who explained how it all started. “I heard them saying Mariah doesn’t want you on the panel, but I was saying, ‘No, I’m friends with Mariah.’ And I was like arguing with people, like, ‘Don’t believe everything you read. You’re crazy!’”
While she didn’t want to believe it, she eventually noticed the awkwardness. “I went there and I started feeling a little bit of the shade. I overcompensated by being crazier.”
According to Nicki, the dueling divas have buried the hatchet. “We’re fine. I cannot hold a grudge against Mariah Carey. What people don’t understand is that I’ve looked up to her for so many years. … I don’t know if she’s gotten over it, but I have.”
However, she is not looking forward to the live shows because of the potential conflict. “I don’t want anyone on the panel to say something crazy ’cause I don’t want to look like a crazy psycho again,” said Nicki, who insisted she is not crazy.
It seems this isn’t going away anytime soon but the readers know where we stand… We don’t care what Mariah did or said… She’s an iconic diva, musician, singer and song writer that should be reverenced, not questioned and NEVER attacked like this!

The second installation of Nicki Minaj’s three-part E! special “My Truth” picks up on the set of her video shoot for “The Boys,” but as the show progresses, the YMCMB rapper addresses the fallout from her “American Idol” feud with Mariah Carey, and specifically Barbara Walter’s involvement in the beef.
When Nick first finds out that footage of the blowout has leaked, she explains to Mack Maine that the cameras did not capture the moments leading up to that, “20 minutes before that happened, she egged me on and I walked off – I stormed off the stage because didn’t wanna do that,” she told the Young Money president. “So I left and when I came back it was another jab.”
“She’s admitted that she did not want another female doing the show, thinking somebody’s coming to steal her shine,” Nick added. “And nitpicking, nitpicking, nitpicking – I don’t do well with that passive aggress sh–. I’m not gonna allow it no more. I can’t. I work and keep it moving, I don’t even f— with the people in this business.”
Later, the subject comes up again during a private flight, after an episode of “The View” which found co-host Barbara Walters reporting that Carey had increased her security after Minaj threatened her life, calling the rapper “unpredictable.” Nicki was unable to contain her disappointment with Walters for quickly taking sides.
“I really felt good when I left yesterday and then I hear that Mariah went to Barbara Walters with some more fabrication that even the producers told her was never said,” she explained. “Telling Barbara I said something about a gun, which everybody knows that I’m way smarter than that. Literally my jaw was just hanging open and I was in shock. I’ve never in my life said anything regarding a gun.”
Nicki reveals that she didn’t want to speak out about the video immediately, in hopes that the controversy would blow over quickly, but no such luck.
“Am I not good enough for you to get my side, because I’m a little black girl that raps?” she said, addressing Walters directly. “Because if I was J. Lo, you would’ve called J. Lo’s camp. But are we not good enough for you Barbara? ‘Cause you wasn’t even there when I was on the show Barbara. So I guess I’m not good enough but I’m only good enough for you to tell people I’m ‘unpredictable,’ when you don’t f—–g know me?”
While the video clip seemed to suggest that there might’ve been some deep rooted beef between these two, Nicki maintains that she still respects Mariah tremendously. “Why would I wanna have a rift with someone I’ve looked up to my whole life? I’ve loved her and even told her that in the meeting. Actually I’m happy that Mariah’s on the panel because I think that’s a great thing. You’ve got one of the best singers than ever sang ever in the world. Ain’t nothing wrong with that, but the fact that you had a problem with me being on there and that’s why there’s an issue.”
In spite of all the accusations, Nicki reiterates that no one will run her off the show.
In the video, which is really just promo material for her reality mini series, Nicki says “Mariah met her match, I don’t think she was expecting to meet her match”…

Due November 19, the album will contain songs off her sophomore LP Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded along with 5-6 new tracks including “The Boys” with Cassie and a collaboration with Lil Wayne.
The Young Money rapper rocks curly black hair in homage to her mixtape days on the sassy artwork. “lol that face matches the lyrics on the reup to a T!!!! lmao, wait til u hear it…u’ll completely get it,” she told her Barbz.
The “American Idol” judge has likened the music to her earlier material. “It’s more my mixtape feel,” she said.

Nick Cannon is speaking out about wife Mariah Carey’s heated blowout with fellow American Idol judge Nicki Minaj.
Nick stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Wednesday and chatted with Billy Bush and Kit Hoover about the exchange posted on TMZ where Nicki is reportedly heard saying, “I told them I’m not f***ing putting up with her f***ing highness over there.”
“Oh why? Why do I have a 3-year-old sitting around me?” Mariah is heard saying back to Nicki. “I can’t see my kids, because you decided to act like a little crazy b**** and go all around the stage.”
According to Nick, these antics are detracting from the FOX series.
“When you think about what the show is actually about and represents… I feel like it’s taking away from the quality of what Idol is all about. This is about people accomplishing their dreams, experts guiding these young people to do what they’ve done,” he said of the publicized drama between his wife and Nicki.
Nick said he was proud of how Mariah handled herself.
“My wife is the strongest and classiest woman that I’ve ever met, if you watch the video, she just maintains her composure… I don’t think she’s moved by the theatrics and pageantry of it all. She signed up to do a job to help young people… this is like a sidebar. I hope that’s not what this show becomes, about the catfights,” he explained. “The show is solely about a singing competition, that’s why America loves these shows, they want to see people reach a certain goal or win… and then to make it about something it’s not, [it] kind of shows that the producers and the network are losing their foot a little bit.”
Adding, “If I’m producing a show about young people accomplishing their dreams, that’s what I want the show to be about, not all the side pageantry… my wife is strong, classy and she maintains her strength.”
Kit asked if Nicki was possibly jealous of Mariah’s long list of career achievements.
“You read the script!” Nick said with a laugh.
Nick spoke to Mariah after the Tuesday incident and said that the only thing on his wife’s mind was their 1-year-old twins.
“She called me and we were talking about the kids… at the end of the day she’s a mom and that’s my wife… we got diapers to change and kids to raise,” he told Billy and Kit.
He also explained that Mariah doesn’t want incidents like these to overshadow the purpose ofIdol.
“I think that was one of her main concerns… [she] signed up to be a mentor on a show that is about people accomplishing their dreams.”
Idol host Ryan Seacrest spoke about the incident on Wednesday morning on his radio show, saying, “It was heated… It did go too far, to the point where the producers said, ‘Let’s call it a day.’ Those few contestants who didn’t get to see the judges, they’ll bring them back today.”
On Tuesday Ryan Tweeted, “Going to bed in Charlotte after an anything but dull day at #idol auditions.”
A rep for FOX has no comment on the incident.
We don’t know if this is fake or if it’s totally foreal but Nicki went left, can’t even tell what she’s going off about but Randy & Mariah are trying to calm her down and she turns the hood all the way up! Poor Tim McGraw didn’t know what to do!!

Roman returns this fall. One year after releasing her sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, Nicki Minaj has announced plans to re-release the project.
She made the official announcement on the red carpet at the VMAs. “I’m releasing my album in November called Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up,” she told “E! News.”
The repackaging will include new material, with the first single to arrive next week. “I’m putting lots of new songs on there and I’m actually going to drop my new single like next week,” she said, while teasing, “Barbz, you are gonna spaz. You are gonna love it. You are gonna go crazy!”
However, she remained tight-lipped when the talk turned to “American Idol.” “I don’t know yet. I really don’t know,” said Nicki, who couldn’t stop smiling when asked if she would join the judges’ table alongside Mariah Carey. “I have no comment on it.”

Nicki Minaj is getting ready to take her act on the road this summer as she announces dates for her “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” tour.
The North American trek will start on July 16th in Chicago and will hit some of the largest markets in the nation, including Atlanta, Miami, and Las Vegas before it wraps up on August 12th in Vancouver, B.C.
The month-long tour won’t be the only chance fans get to see the Barbz, as she will also embark on a fall tour soon thereafter.

Nicki Minaj scores her second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 as “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” debuts atop the list with 253,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It follows her debut studio set, “Pink Friday,” which climbed to No. 1 on the Feb. 19, 2011 chart, just as her “Super Bass” single was taking off. “Pink Friday” bowed at No. 2 on the chart dated Dec. 11, 2010 with 375,000 sold according to Nielsen SoundScan. (Its big debut was fueled by Christmas shopping as the album bowed during Thanksgiving week.)
“Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” is not a reissue of the original “Pink Friday” album — despite its confusing title. It’s an all-new release, led by its official first single “Starships.” The track has already sailed to No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The album that “Roman Reloaded” replaces, Madonna‘s “MDNA,” falls to No. 8 with 48,000 (down 86.7%) It debuted at No. 1 last week with 359,000. Its steep drop is the largest second-week percentage decline for a No. 1-debuting album since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991.
It surpasses the record set by Lady Gaga‘s “Born This Way,” when it fell 84.27% in its second week on the chart dated June 18, 2011. “Born This Way” bowed the previous frame at No. 1 with 1.11 million, and then sold 174,000 in its second week at the top of the chart.

Sharp decline from the first albums first week, which was held off my Kanye’s genius “Dark Twisted Fantasy” album over a year ago. The label has presented her with a list of producers, song writers and collaborators they’d like her to work with. It wasn’t mandatory but a STRONG suggestion… Nevertheless, B insist on running the show, taping Bangladesh, Swizz Beatz and other urban music producers for her 5th album.
The label wants her to scale back the vocals and lean more towards the Adult Contemporary sound of “I Am” but B wants to sing, eager to prove she’s still top b****..
Sony is also pushing collaboration with Nicki Minaj and RocNation label mate, Rihanna, foreseeing the TITANIC buzz it would create for the project but Beyonce is resistant for whatever reason o.o
