Beyonce teased all year but never delivered, left the door wide up and Ciara’s about to run rite through it with this album!! All Ciara has to do to restore her powers is murder her BET Awards performance and deliver a another FIRE video for her new single with Nicki!!

We think this is it, Ciara could finally make a complete comeback!!

Ciara 2012 Album!!!

Ciara is on the move, recording music for her next album, promoting her forthcoming role in “That’s My Boy” with Adam Sandler and more.

Admitting she has a whole new vibe and creative control with L.A. Reid (Epic), Ciara says there is nothing but “good energy” now.

“It’s just really about the vibe,” Ciara said of working with Reid on her as-yet-untitled album this week. “It’s really important for me to take my time with this record. It’s really really good energy.”

Admitting there have been some “mistakes” in the past, Ciara is all about business and growing with fans now.

“I’ve been able to make mistakes in front of my fans. It’s kind of fun to be able to learn as I grow and to know that my fans are growing with me. I feel so much good energy,” said Ciara. “At this point it’s important for me to be the best businesswoman I can be. I really want to build my empire. I look at things completely different than I would have with my first album. I’ve learned so much, it’s actually exciting. I feel like there is so much I can do. So much I can accomplish.”

Ciara is also co-producing music for this new album.

Hmmmmmm, I’ve heard all these things from her before… This time, I hope she’s got her head out of her a**, that her previous label really was the issue, not her, that she’s ready to work and fu** the stupid up!!

This girl has MASSIVE potential, her voice records beautifully, she’s gorgeous and she’s a brilliant dancer. L.A Reid will attempt to emancipate her!

L.A Reid Signs Ciara To Epic!!!

Interesting huh… The rumors have been flying since the summer but now it’s confirmed! L.A Reid is aiming to re-invent and re-established Ciara, formerly one of the most popular artist in urban music. 

Her career kinda went to sh** about 3 years ago, her single, “Go Girl”, which I actually LOVED was trounced by Beyonce’s epic video assisted, “Single Ladies”, which is easily the most successful song of B’s career…

For some time it appeared Ciara was a match for Queen B but changes in production, management and conflicts at her label weakened her presentation and ultimately her music.. L.A is aiming to do her what he did in 2005 with Mariah Carey and in 2010 with Jennifer Lopez, a complete and total comeback! We’ll see what happens…

Ciara “Basic Instinct” Only Shifts 37,000 Copies?

Dayummm…. I knew it was gonna be bad but didn’t know it was gonna be this bad… This time it’s not all her fault..

Ciara’s most successful track in a long time is “Ride”, the first single from her new album. That song hit U.S radio and billboard MONTHS AGO! Like 4 or 5 months ago, the water was hot then and her label should have put this album in stores!

She could’ve still done well despite the time frame but “Gimme That” didn’t get the video it deserved by any means. It just wasn’t strong enough to match the track, which is one of Ciara’s best dance pop songs.. I really feel for her, she’s in the wrong hands. One day I’ll have a label and things like won’t happen to capable artist..

I’m really feeling this album, it’s not great but it’s a return to form. Well done Cici..

A few years ago Ciara looked up and found herself one of the biggest victims of what a friend of mine calls “Beyonceitis”.. It’s a infectious condition that few if any recover from. She’s out of the ICU but not the woods. This album is good but she’s going to have to select the right singles, make some fire videos and play all her cards right to be okay…

Was she talking about Beyonce in that opening track??? IDK , but that’s what it sounds like..

“Ride” woke up all that had been sleeping since “Fantasy Ride”. The song is by far her most successful single in years. Great first single choice!

“Gimme That” was the perfect follow up but the video wasn’t at all what it should have been. She could have come so much harder then that. It’s okay to have some of the new Ciara mixed in with the old. I felt like she was trying to remake past projects and channel that girl we all fell in love with all those years ago a little too hard…

“Turn It Up Ft Usher is her official crossover track. I she wants those sells to jump and make some real money this song should be the next single and the video needs to be SICKENING!!!

“You Can Get It” is by far my favorite song!!! Someone got me really feel these lyrics, only song I’ve got on repeat..

She’s not gonna win any singing contest or break any records with this album but it’s much more put together then “Fantasy Ride”..

Ciara Reveals “Basic Instincts” Track Listing!!!

Ciara follows her Basic Instinct on the tracklisting for her fourth album, hitting stores December 14. The 11-track set features the Ludacris-assisted single “Ride,” sensual “Speechless,” and dance floor-ready “Gimmie Dat,” plus a collaboration with her labelmate Usher (“Turn It Up”). Tricky Stewart and The-Dream serve as executive producers.

“Now it’s time to go back, it’s time to throw on my sneakers, it’s time to just really get bossy for a couple of seconds,” CiCi previously told Rap-Up.com ofInstinct, which marks a return to her roots.

Ciara Releases “Basic Instinct” Promo Pics and They Are FIREEE!!!

YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! Ciara IS NOT PLAYIN!!!! That first shot is fire and the second shows that she has indeed returned to her roots!

The album has been pushed back from it’s September release date but is expected to be on shelves the following month or the first week in November…

The Game is Ready For Ciara’s “Basic Instincts”!!!

After Ciara’s 2009 album “Fantasy Ride” failed to meet expectations — selling a meager 195,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan — following the success of 2006’s “Ciara: The Evolution,” which sold 1.3 million copies, and her “Goodies” debut, which sold 2.7 million — many counted her out.

But with the help of lead single “Ride” from “Basic Instincts,” her fourth studio album due Oct. 5 on Jive Records, the R&B singer/dancer/actress is back with a vengeance.

The single, produced by Christopher “Tricky” Stewart and written by The Dream — who together helmed the entire album — is No. 5 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and No. 42 on the Billboard Hot 100 after 13 weeks on each. The track has sold 250,000 downloads to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

“The track has caught on because it’s infectious, memorable and returns Ciara to her fan base,” Stewart says. “The last album we had a number of people in our ears not believing in our vision. This time Ciara drew the line and really fought for what she believed in.”

Another reason: Sex sells. Ciara takes that adage a step further than she did on her “Love Sex Magic” song and video with Justin Tomberlake from her last album. Her limber writhing in a bodysuit in the videoclip seems demure compared with “Ride.” The highly sexified, push-the-envelope track finds Ciara boasting about her sexual prowess (“I can do it up and down, I can do circles/To him I’m a gymnast, this room is my circus,” she sings in a breathy tenor) atop a thumping, slinky beat.

The accompanying video, directed by Diane Martel, is just as explicit as the lyrics. The clip features Ciara provocatively gliding and bouncing atop a mechanical bull while wearing a wet T-shirt, among other highly sexualized visuals — so much so that BET Networks banned the video from its channel.

“Ride” isn’t the only promising track gleaned from “Basic Instinct” so far; “Gimme Dat,” a more uptempo but equally brash song was released as a buzz track. “I’ve been gone for too long, now it’s time I take it back,” she confidently opens the song over a lively, bass-driven dance beat. Additionally, a remix to “Ride,” featuring OutKast rapper Andre 3000, was released on the Internet.

While Ciara’s album was pushed back a number of times and an official second single hasn’t been released yet, her recent chart successes have many rooting for her and the future of her music career. “I am grateful to work with such a talented artist as Ciara,” the-Dream tells Billboard. “I’ve never doubted her talents or her will to succeed.”

I think this is it! “Fantasy Ride” had a few good songs but this time Tricky & The Dream are running the show, the same team that help Mariah create perhaps her best album via Def Jam. “Basic Instincts” is gonna be FIRE!!!

If Ciara’s new project is a quarter what Mariah’s album was then she’s getting ready to make a MASSIVE COMEBACK! This is the perfect follow up to “Ride”!!!

Ciara’s On The Come Up!!!

The success of her new single “Ride” is creating MUCHO buzz for her new music. Her next single is soooo crucial! If it’s trash she stands to loose everything she’s gained with “Ride” and having to start all over later this year. I wish she had the chance to perform it at the BET Awards but they clearly on team Beyonce… I’m neutral but I’m the type of person that hates seeing talented wasted.

Ciara can sing and she can dance circles around all but Janet Jackson but her image on the last album was wayyy too close to Beyonce’s themes. The comparison had been there since day one but for the first time it really looked like she was trying to be Beyonce. The key to success for any young female artist is to be as far from Beyonce as possible, her sound, her image and her theme. It’s impossible to compete with her that way. Ciara’s label should’ve known that. The way to get at her is to be the anti-B, which is what Ciara was for the majority of her career. She seduced the industry and fans with her smooth, sensual dance routines, bass heavy production and tomboy image. She’s grown up and appears to have found herself. I think she’s ready!

This next single needs to be something like “Ride”, bass heavy, strongly produced club track or a slow jam like “Promise”. I hope she’s got the material and if she does I hope her A&R slays! Good luck Cici!!!

I saw this posted somewhere else today and HAD to talk about it!!!

The suggestive dance moves and overt sensuality of Ciara’s video is no more provocative or suggestive then Beyonce’s “Video Phone” and Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” films.. Hmmmmm WTF!!!

I think it’s safe to say, your girl ain’t illuminated…

Ciara Working with The Dream & Tricky Stewart on 4th Album!!!

Hmmmm…..  A bit of swagger jacking I must say… Mariah’s current album “Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel” was produced by the same two artist…

Ciara needs to sit down, realize that she isn’t Beyonce and never will be. She need to find Jazzy Faye and Missy Elliot and give us the album she should have dropped earlier this year…

No one wants to hear you sing babygirl… We want you to dance, make us dance, bring the fire like we’ve see you do it on the first two albums or sit down!!!! Leave the crowns to B and Mimi and do you…

So…. I gotta apologize to Ciara…

I trashed her latest work “Fantasy Ride” for the most part. I was initially very disappointed in what I heard the first couple of listens. However, I’ve had the CD about 2 weeks now and there are surprisingly a few songs I live for…

I had to post a slight retraction. This album is still not what it should have been but she did a descent job. Not every artist is highly listenable, especially when there voice isn’t the basis of there appeal. The following tracks make this album worth purchasing:

* Like A Surgeon

* Ciara To The Stage

* Tell Me What Your Name Is

These three in addition to the singles “Love Sex Magic” and “Never Ever” make for a pretty presentable album…

Ciara can get her career out of the ER by just following these instructions:

* Make “Ciara To The Stage” the next single from the album and deliver a hot video. That song needs a hott ass dance routine that will remind the public, the game and her fans alike who the better dancer is all day (Her or Beyonce)

* That song needs to be performed well EACH AND EVERY TIME. To insure that, she needs to go ahead and take some notes from Britney and start lipping it every time…

* That single should be followed by “Like A Surgeon” and the same steps above repeated.

If she does this she’ll be able to finish this albums promo with “Tell Me What The Name Is” (which should put her on with the white girls) and a U.S tour that doesn’t quite sell out but performs well enough in combo with the singles and album overall to get the media and the blogs off her a**…

She’ll be back, hot like she was never in intensive care… There is hope for Beyoncitus if you’ve got any talent and a lot of determination…
