Beyonce “4” Full Album Review!!!

I thought she’d reached the mountain peak and there was no where left to climb… I was wrong…..

“4” IS BRILLIANT, GENIUS, TRIUMPHANT!!!

These are the songs that I can’t stop spinning but the whole album is seamlessly Beyonce, a Beyonce I thought didn’t exist anymore. She’s SANGING, growling and belting out those trumpet like vocals like it’s 2006 again! I was pleasantly surprised by how well written, well produced and performed this album is. It’s 3 times what 2008’s “I Am” was and EXACTLY what I thought that album should have been..

The songs sound sooooooo much better in sequence with each other. Even “Run The World (Girls)”. “4” is everything!

Beyonce has effortlessly did it on em. Rihanna’s “Loud” and Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday” are bested. Beyonce matches Britney & Adele, who both made iconic testaments to there respective genres. Beyonce and Adele will likely do battle at the 2012 Grammy Awards for “Album of The Year”…

I’m concerned….

This is the first album she’s released that hasn’t been spearheaded by a runaway hit single… That said, “4” is going to be a tough sell to anyone that hasn’t downloaded it already. The Beyonce stans are going to come out in the hundreds of thousands to support there Queen and she will need them more then ever now.

Management has changed and B is consequently in the wrong hands, hands that don’t know what to do with such an artist. This would be the biggest album of her career if Matthew Knowles was still running sh**. Beyonce’s created a complete masterpiece but I fear what happened to Mariah back in 2009 with “Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel” is going to happen to her.

The project hasn’t been presented correctly and if the public doesn’t get a single they can connect with soon the project is going to render her lowest sells figures to date and likely be labeled a flop despite it’s brilliance.

Nevertheless, this is the Beyonce album I’ve been waiting for since 2007!

I can’t stop spinning “I Miss U”, made me cry the first time I heard it… “Start Over” is THUNDEROUS and honest, one of my favorite Beyonce songs EVER! 

“Rather Die Young” and “End of Time” make my list of favorites too!

Some would call me one of Beyonce’s harshest critics, even a “hater” but even I must bend my knees and kneel at the alter of her talent, musicianship and the sheer iconography of this album.. This is the emancipation of Beyonce, a triumphant return to form. COP IT IMMEDIATELY!!!

I actually like this song but Beyonce’s label is clearly FISHING for a 2nd single.. We’ve heard “1+1” and “Til The End Of Time” already.. Now Vevo comes with this new track. We’ve NEVER heard this much of Beyonce’s new music through official outlets on  ANY of her other albums…

This is the best song I’ve heard thus far, all other singles left me wanting more. This one will likely pick up at radio and be the next video we see from B…

I told y’all a week ago that the single was mad urban! It fit right in on “B’Day’s” re-release but after hearing her perform adult contemporary and POP for the past 3 years it’s sounds almost wrong!!!

At this point it doesn’t matter how epic the video is because there was only ONE single ladies dance! Matthew Knowles WOULD NEVER HAVE ALLOWED THIS SONG TO LEAD HER ALBUM CAMPAIGN! The end of Beyonce is upon us!

The End of Beyonce Is Upon Us, Diva Parts Ways With Matthew Knowles!!!

OMG!!!!!!!!!! This is a HUGE MISTAKE!!! Matthew has kept her picture perfect for years, he is the author of Beyonce. She’s taking a HUGE risk in changing management now, especially since this new album is coming fast!

Jay-Z is likely among the choices to manage the diva. He might know what’s he’s doing but any other choices my find this job impossible. Beyonce had the best team in the industry, she’s never missed a beat and that was due largely in part to MattK being the guiding force behind her career..

If she falls on her a** with this new album it’ll look like MattK is what made her Queen B. This will be like when Mariah left her manager and ex-husband, Tommy Mottola to do her own thing and take total control of her career. The result was “Glitter”…………….

I wonder if Matt will continue as the manager of Destiny’s Child???

Oh Sh** Beyonce Returns In Three Weeks!!!

For those Beyoncé fans that have been anxiously waiting new music from Queen B, wait no more. According to songwriter Los DaMystro, not only is a new track by Mrs. Carter “F*cking insane!” it might also be released as early as three weeks from now.

“Listening to New B record Dream wrote…F*cKINg INSANE! WOw!! She About to Kill the game again! Had to Listen again!! Yall C in 3 weeks!” Los, who frequently works with The-Dream and producer Tricky Stewart, tweeted late last night (Sept. 22). The three worked on Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” chart hit off 2008’s “I Am… Sasha Fierce.

‘”All i can say i Ladies yall got anither Athem!!” Los later posted, creating even more anticipation.

Additional information on the project is scant as of press time, but in August, singer/songwriter Ne-Yo did tweet about a studio session with B and Mary J. Blige. “Studio with Mary J. Blige tonight, Beyonce tonight. I LOVE MY JOB!!!” he said.

It appears the Beyonce that really and truly slayed died in late 07. In her place we have a commercial pop singer that love to be in Lady Gaga’s shoes. She’s put herself in an arena with talents she can’t match. No matter how pop Beyonce gets, she’ll never have the success Gaga or Britney have enjoyed…

She needs to return to her roots and give us some FIRE!!!!

Can Beyonce Get Us Bodied Again??? Second Edition!

I’m sure most of my long time readers will remember a similar article I posted a while before Beyonce dropped “I Am Sasha Fierce”.. If your new to The True, then let me explain the concept.

In 2006 Beyonce dropped “B’Day”, the best album in her catalogue and one of the best albums of the decade, if not ever. Club hits like “Lost Your Mind” and “Get Me Bodied” have become timeless hits, staples in Beyonce extensive recording history. That said, the question I’m posing is: Can Beyonce do that again.. Can she deliver a thundering declaration of her superiority a second time or is “B’Day” the best of her???

After watching the Sasha promo campaign, videos, live performance and listening to the albums many re-releases I have the answer… NO! Absolutely not! In comparison, the Beyonce from 06 is MUCH stronger and more powerful then the Beyonce that sits on the thrown now..

Everything from the album, to the videos, to the promo and the tour was substantially weaker then those of “B’Day”.. That 06 Beyonce didn’t need cute dance routines to make her songs stick nor did she EVER need to appease the commercial market to sell 6+ million copies of that album. This new chick is not the B I love, just looks like her, doesn’t move or sing like the Queen I fell in love with. Where are the amazing performances, where are the fire dance tracks (minus Video Phone) where are the mind blowing vocals??? No where to be found with Ms Sasha…

The 4th album will likely continue the crossover begun on her 3rd. Adult contemporary ballads and pop hits, not the urban dance pop/r&b queen that changed the game 4 years ago…

Some might argue that Beyonce’s becoming an artist, that she’s actually progressed beyond “B’Day” to make something more solid and timeless. Valid point, however, she only scored one hit from this album, a hit that wouldn’t have been if she hadn’t put together a great video for an OK song… That great video is actually what the success of the ENTIRE project is based..

What if The Dream had given that song to someone else??? What if it hadn’t appeared on the album at all??? What would have been her selling point?????????????????????? With “B’Day”, there was miles of content. If she never recorded “Get Me Bodied”, she still would have had “Lost Your Mind”, “Upgrade U”, “Deja Vu” and Ring The Alarm”.. “IASF” was WEAK!!!

Furthermore, her performances at the 2009 BET Awards, 2010 Grammy Ceremony, various performances of “Single Ladies” and underwhelming tour DVD support my theory that this star is getting ready to burn out, starting her way down the decline… She’s given the game her best and now is seemingly getting further and further away from what made her so interesting to begin with.. I’m bored Beyonce.. Can you get me bodied again???

Beyonce Finally Putt’n That A** In A Chair, Scheduling 6 Month Hiatus From Recording!!!

“It’s definitely time to take a break, to recharge my batteries,” she tells USA Today. “I’d like to take about 6 months and not go into the studio. I need to just live my life right now, to be inspired by things again. I want to go to restaurants maybe take a class, see some movies and Broadway shows.” She also plans to spend more time with her 5-year-old nephew, Daniel, son of her sister Solange. “He’s a wonderful kid, amazing, so smart. And I spoil him, so it’s a lot of work. He’s a 24-hour job.”

“It will be the hardest thing in the world for me to make myself not do an album and shoot a video and turn it in and say, ‘I’m ready!’” she confesses. “I already have all these melodies and ideas in my head. I have to tell myself, ‘Sit down! Sit DOWN!

Make no mistake, Beyonce may sit down til June or July but after that she’ll be in the studio working on her 4th studio album. Expect her to drop it late 2010 or early 2011..
