Nicki saved this track… It’s awful but her verse is everything! Keyshia’s vocals are lazy and I’m afraid to say that we might have seen all the slay’n she’s ever gonna do with “Just Like You”.. If this lead single is any indication of what this new album is going to sound like then she’s not at all what she was.. I’m disappointed!

Keyshia gave birth to a baby girl tonight along side fiance Daniel Gibson. He missed the first half of the game tonight to be with her but once the baby was born and Keyshia was resting he decided to play in the second half.

Yay!!! She’s been engaged since New Years but just recently confirmed it. Boyfriend and now fiance, Daniel Gibson popped the question and the couple are expecting there first child later this year. Congratulations Keyshia!!!

Welcome to the first book of “Fall’N Off”! This is a new series of articles I’m going to be writing over the next couple of months discussing the short comings of varies artist and what they need to get back on.
Book one is Keyshia Cole:
Keyshia came HARD with her second album! Singles like “Let It Go”, “I Remember” and “Heaven Sent” made her a household name and killed radio, earning her a solid place amongst her peers, respect and new fans that had been sleeping on her since album one, myself among them.
After slaying with “Just Like You” fans and the game expected a strong follow up, unfortunately all they got was “A Different Me”…
Here’ my question….
Why change a formula that put you on and established you???
“A Different Me” isn’t a bad album, not at all. There are 3 or 4 songs that I live for but it’s weak, not nearly as listenable as her last project, not nearly as radio ready as “Just Like You” was. The album has performed poorly at both radio and Billboard, so hopefully KC and her label see a different Keyshia isn’t the best one and bring back the chick the game fell in love with 2 years ago…
She’s falling off right now but getting back on will be easy. All she has to do is return to form; go back in the studio with Missy, Dark Child and some of the other producers from album 2. The only thing her last LP was lacking is production.
Obstacles:
Keyshia has proven she can co-exist with Beyonce, Mary and Mariah but a new face with similar appeal threatens all…
Keri Hilson… The same on point production, relatable writing style but slightly weaker voice… She’s just like Keyshia and is slay’n the game right now. This is the first real competitor Keyshia had…

So….Beyonce was a mess for that boring a**, lame a**, almost unacceptable for the Grammy Awards even performance. If she really wanted to pay homage to the king of pop she should have torn that stage to shreds like he would have done, come on B.

The dream and Keyshia are hitting the road together this summer. The Dream’s new album is the business but Keyshia’s new project released late 08 was lacking. “A different Me” debuted at number 2 and has since plummeted down the Billboard chart. It’s about half the album “Just Like You” proved to be a few years ago…

Singer/songwriter The-Dream has announced a 21-city tour with R&B artist Keyshia Cole that will take off on May 13 at the Aronoff Center in Cincinnati and will conclude at the Pearl in Las Vegas on June 21.
The-Dream will be touring in support of his sophomore album, “Love Vs. Money” (Radio Killa/Def Jam) which peaked at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart with 331,000 units sold in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Earlier this week, The-Dream released his third single, “Walkin’ On The Moon,” featuring labelmate Kanye West. The video for “Moon” was directed by Hype Williams and will premiere in coming days.
The first two singles off “Love Vs. Money,” “Rockin’ That Thang” and “My Love,” featuring Mariah Carey, reached No. 3 and No. 36 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart, respectively. The-Dream also released a remix of “Rockin’ That Thang” featuring the ‘Def Jam All-Stars’ lineup consisting of Fabolous, Juelz Santana, Rick Ross and Ludacris.
“Love Vs. Money” follow’s The-Dream’s 2007 debut, “Love Hate,” which sold 552,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen Soundscan. The-Dream’s first tour was as an opening act for Mary J. Blige and Jay-Z’s “Heart Of The City” trek last year.

So….. with the return of Britney Spears to the game, radio and the charts the public has begun understandably comparing her to resident Queen B…Beyonce. As of right now it’s pretty much a draw. Where one lacks the other excels: Britney’s a better dancer, while Beyonce can sing circles around her…
There albums both shifted 505,000 copies in there first chart weeks but the metrics have changed since then… Below are the current chart positions for both divas:

As you can see Beyonce’s album is still selling strong at #9 despite backlash from some fans and bits of the media. Britney’s album is way back at 22 but her singles are performing much better then Beyonce’s…”If U Seek Amy” is probably going to crack the top 10, if not become her next #1 hit, while I don’t see “Diva” or “Halo” performing those feats for Beyonce…
Both divas are on the road right now. Britney is packing arenas and selling out stadiums all over the states while Beyonce cleans house in Canada and Europe. At the end of the year I’ll be able to see more finalized sales for there albums, know what there singles did and the concert revenue can be tallied. Can’t wait!
